Manny Pacquiao UN-FREAKING-BELIAVABLE!!!

On November 14 2009, Manny -Pacman- Pacquiao knocked on the doors of history and greatness of the boxing world, they opened and he entered with utter authority. Facing Miguel Cotto for the WBO welterweight championship, the Filipino had the opportunity to become world champion in 7 different categories, he did so by defeating Cotto by way of a TKO in the 12^th round.

The fight started with a brave Cotto dominating the first round, showing great boxing as the results of his training efforts, then the fight was an uphill journey for him as Pacquiao came more aggressive in the 2^nd round and even stronger in the 3^rd where he eventually knocked down Cotto. After that, Cotto was in survival mode for the rest of the bout, until the 12^th round when the referee stopped the fight thus sealing Pacquiao's victory.

With this victory, Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao, reassures his condition of the best pound per pound boxer of the world of his time and prints his name in the annals of boxing.

Sometimes this is the only way!!!

I almost had forgot this guy, John Allen Muhammad, back in 2002 he and Lee Malvo decided to go on a killing spree in Virginia, killing 10 people and wounding 3 more. Because of this he was trialed and convicted to death.

On november 10 he was executed by lethal injection, I think he got what he deserved, I know his death won't bring back to life any of the people he killed but for sure this guy(as McVeigh) was a cancer that needed to be extirpated.

...si un día salimos, caminamos juntos, cenamos y hablamos, yo le diría que estoy loco por ella y que si me lo permitiera la haría la mujer más amada del mundo; y si ella, al enterarse de mi confesión y por razones que yo no entendería, me acepta, entonces esa sería mi desgracia, pues en algún momento futuro se dará cuenta que no soy nada, que estaría mejor sin mi y que sería mejor dejarme.

Entonces me despreciaré más de lo que me desprecio ahora, pues acepto el hecho de que no es mía y no podré tenerla, pero nunca me perdonaría el hecho de tenerla y perderla.

Bolt smashes 200m world record

Once again Jamaican Usain "Thunder" Bolt, has written his name in the books of records, this time winning the 2009 IAAF World championship 200m finals and beating the previous record of 19.3 seconds, set by himself in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The 23 year old sprinter crossed the finish line when the chronometer registered 19.19s, there was never a threat from his rivals and to prove it he finished 62 tenths adrift second placed Alonso Edward from Panama.

By achieving this Bolt became the first man to break both 100m and 200m world records more than once, he also has broke records in five consecutive finals -the 100m, 200m and the 4x100m of the 2008 Olympics- and this year 100m and 200m in Berlin.

At the moment Usain Bolt is in a league of his own, with nobody being able to question his dominance of the events where he takes part, his closest rivals Tyson Gay, who retired from the 200m event with an injury, and Asafa Powell finished second and third respectively in the 100m and had never been close to post the performances Bolt has displayed this last year.

Como fan de todas las formas de competición que existen entre los seres humanos, de vez en cuando me doy una vuelta por los sites que se dedican al segumiento del muy popular mundo de las artes marciales mixtas(MMA por sus síglas en ingles). En una de esas vueltas me encontre con este video en el que dos niñas(no mayores de 8 años) nos dan una breve pero muy eficaz lección para ejecutar técnicas de estragulamiento y llaves al brazo, que son de las más populares en los combates de MMA.
